My little angel was born on the 3rd of march 2009.
Brooke-Elizabeth sadly passed away 28 minutes later brooke is sadly missed by her mummy&daddy and her big sister honey-louise and all the rest of the family
when i found out i was pregnant with my little angel brooke-elizabeth i was told she had water on the brain and when i was 20 weeks pregnant they then told us our princess had a condition called anencephaly. Anencephaly is a cephalic disorder that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the cephalic (head) end of the neural tube fails to close, usually between the 23rd and 26th day of pregnancy, resulting in the absence of a major portion of the brain, skull, and scalp[1]. Children with this disorder are born without a forebrain, the largest part of the brain consisting mainly of the cerebral hemispheres (which include the isocortex, which is responsible for higher level cognition, i.e., thinking). The remaining brain tissue is often exposed—not covered by bone or skin. All i could do was cry. they asked me to abort her and my answer was no i couldnt she was my baby my life and i would do it all over again if i had to.
